Tangy Iced Hibiscus Masala Chai

A handful of dried hibiscus makes the perfect punchy base for complex masala spices, with hints of red berry that accentuate the floraliy of Assam tea 🍃

While it's popular to cold brew hibiscus overnight, we found that brewing it with heat offered a more quenchy, earthy + intense flavor/body over ice~

ingredients

  • organic dried hibiscus

  • masala soul chai

  • filtered water + ice

  • optional: olive oil, citrus

it’s easy!

  • Brew 2 tbsp hibiscus in 1 cup 212°F water & steep for 6+ minutes

  • Strain & incorporate 1 tbsp Masala Soul Chai + 1 tbsp honey/raw sugar (if desired)

  • Serve over iced & enjoy! 🫶🏽

    *For an extra special, creamy variation:

  • prepare 3 cups of Masala Hibiscus concentrate, let cool and throw it in the blender with a 1/3 cup of EVOO and 1 whole lemon(!) Blend well and serve over ice ✨️
