Chocolate Chai Popcorn

A little spicy, a little sweet and very addictive! Take movie night and healthy snacking to the next level with this easy stovetop spiced popcorn 🍿✨

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp Masala Soul Chai Powder

  • 1/2 cup Popcorn Kernels

  • 1.5 tbsp Sugar or Honey

  • optional: 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • .5 tsp Fine Salt

  • 3 tbsp Neutral Oil

  • 3 tbsp Melted Butter, Ghee or Coconut oil

it’s easy!

  • In a large, heavy-bottomed pan, combine and coat popcorn kernels in neutral oil

  • Place over medium heat. Once sizzling, cover with a lid and stay nearby to frequently shake up the unpopped kernels and prevent the popped ones from scorching

  • When pops become 2-3 seconds apart, turn off the heat and remove the lid partway to let cool for about a minute

  • Drizzle your fresh popcorn with your butter/oil, sweetener, cocoa powder and chai. Gently toss to coat or transfer the popcorn to a large bowl to dress and season.

  • Adjust the spice + sweet levels to your liking and ENJOY!
